Railway Partnership launches grant fund for community organisations
Conwy Valley and North West Wales Coast Community Rail Partnership and Transport for Wales have launched their Community Grant Fund designed to support the resilience and sustainability of community organisations.
Funding of up to £1,000 is available for community groups within a five-mile radius of stations along the routes from Llandudno to Blaenau Ffestiniog and Llandudno Junction to Holyhead. Applications are considered for a wide range of activities that can demonstrate their impact on the community and how the funding will sustain them in the future and keep services going.
Additional funding from Transport for Wales has been made available for community groups within a one-mile radius of a station in the above routes whose emphasis is on ‘Green Projects’. Groups can apply for up to £500 to deliver projects with a greener initiative such as habitat creation, bug houses and allotments.
The funding is being facilitated and administered by Mantell Gwynedd whose aim is to support third sector voluntary and community groups in Gwynedd. For more information about applying for the Community Grant Fund contact email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01286 672626.
