National Volunteers Week

Its National Volunteers week, time for the Conwy Valley Railway to celebrate the dedication and hard work of our station adopters.

Station Adopters play an important part of our railway community where local people help us by keeping an eye on their unstaffed railway stations by reporting any litter, graffiti or lighting issues. Stations are kept clean and pleasant and they care for floral displays on the Station or Gardens.

We have many great examples where volunteers maintain their gardens to a very high standard with many including Dolwyddelan, Tal Y Cafn and Llandudno being recognised by winning national awards.

Thank you to all the Conwy Valley Railway Station Adopters.
