CATEGORIES:
CONWY BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Recognised as a market leader in their field, demonstrating increase in sales, headcount, profitability and market share over the last 3 years. This Award will go to the business that can demonstrate the highest levels of growth and a robust plan for sustainable financial performance.
SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Recognising small businesses performing at a high level within their industry sector, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Single Office / Home Office businesses with fewer than 10 employees.
NEW BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
This award recognises businesses who are within their first 24 months of trading, have exceeded their initial targets for growth and have already shown a significance within the industry they are operating in. They should also have the foundations in place for continued success and potential expansion.
BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR
This award recognizes business people who demonstrate strategic business thinking, have outstanding entrepreneurial spirit and are regarded by others as leaders in their field.
Open to individuals who are either self-employed or employed by a business.
APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR
This awards recognizes apprentices who are either working towards or who have recently completed their apprenticeship. The individual will have shown outstanding progress and commitment to their own personal development and made a real difference to the company that they are working for.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
This award is to recognise businesses who have made a real difference or had a positive impact on people, the environment or to improve sustainability in Conwy.
SOCIAL ENTERPRISE OF THE YEAR
This award is to recognize a social enterprise that has a clear vision and delivers on its Social Mission Statement, has sustainable growth and financial performance, and achieves a high level of customer and community engagement.
GREEN BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
This Award recognises companies that demonstrate a successful commitment to driving sustainability through their business, balancing social, environmental and financial obligations. The business must demonstrate good environmental or sustainability practice, reducing energy costs, minimizing waste or by other means reducing their carbon footprint.
TOURISM AWARD FOR FOOD & DRINK
The award recognises food and drink businesses which show real commitment to local produce. Judges will take into account business that offer excellence in quality and service, and demonstrate innovation in terms of products and services.
AWARD FOR BEST CUSTOMER FOCUS
This award recognises businesses who demonstrate a strong link between customer service and profit. The business must be built around the needs of its target audience and have identified and exceeded at delivering against customer expectations.
TOURISM BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
This category is open to any organisation, irrespective of size, involved in the delivery of tourism, visitor attractions or hospitality. This includes, but is not limited to, hotels, restaurants, bars, visitor attractions, experiences and events. The business must demonstrate outstanding performance in a number of aspects.
IT / DIGITAL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Aimed at Conwy businesses that have exploited technology to deliver an improved service to customers, created an operational advantage or for businesses that have enhanced the customer/ employee experience through the smart deployment of technology.
OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
If you have an employee that you feel needs to be truly acknowledged with an award, then why not tell us why they are so valued. This can be any employee that has shown outstanding initiative and gone above and beyond in their duties, or someone who is dedicated and effective.
