The Conwy Valley Railway extends a very warm welcome to the new Community Rail Officer for the Cambrian Railway, Claire Williams.  This week Community Rail Officer Melanie Lawton met with Claire Williams and Arriva Trains Wales Station Manager David Cruncorn at Isallt Guest House in Blaenau Ffestiniog for a hot cup of coffee and a friendly introduction.

The work between the two rail partnerships has grown in recent years, we now work closer then ever promoting Community Rail, Rail Safety and sharing resources to create joint marketing campaigns and collaborating on strategic documents.
