Melanie Lawton, the Community Rail Officer for the Conwy Valley Railway recently attended Hafan Gwydir an Independent Living Complex in Llanrwst.  Working in Partnership with Geraint Morgan from Arriva Trains Wales, Haf Jones Conwy County Borough Council we presented a virtual trip on the train and discussed common perceived obstacles such as “Can I take my electric scooter on the train”  It was a very interactive session with plenty of questions and answers and Geraint Morgan was able to provide the reassurance they need to travel on the train.

The presentations were very well received and a trip on the Conwy Valley Line is planned very soon.
