Reduce the stigma of isolation and join us for a Wellbeing Walk

Join Mind Conwy and the Conwy Valley and North West Wales Coast Community Rail Partnership for our circular walk for wellbeing on June 16th at Betws y Coed railway station.

We’ve partnered with walk leader, Nick from the Conwy Mind’s Wellbeing Team to lead a circular 6 mile walk from Betws y Coed on 16th June at 11am. We will finish the walk at the Alpine Coffee Shop where we hope you’ll join us for a chat and cuppa as we support the Marmalade Trust’s annual campaign during Loneliness Awareness Week to reduce the stigma of isolation.

The walk will focus on the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’ and mindfulness in woodland space with nature at your fingertips. During our walk Nick will share tips on planning your own walk and how you can use the 5 ways to wellbeing to connect, give, learn, take notice and be active in your daily lives. These easy steps are simple and very effective.

The Walk

Starting from Betws y Coed train station we will follow the river towards Ty Hyll turning around at the site of the miner’s bridge to Betws y Coed. It is on paths next to roads, gravel track and some rocky trails by the river. It will give us beautiful views of the river and forest.
